Tanzania Travel Guide

INTRODUCTION

Among East African countries, Kenya is the most famous. However, Tanzania has more stunning tourist destinations than Kenya. Some unique, fascinating destinations in Tanzania are Mount Kilimanjaro, Ngorongoro crater, Serengeti Game Reserve, and beach Islands like Zanzibar.

Uganda national game parks do not have many big game animals. Uganda is famous for Gorilla tracking safaris and bird watching. Tanzania and Kenya Game and National Parks are the places to go to see many big game animals.

Many flights landing at Kenya are cheaper than those landing in Tanzania. Once in Kenya, simply book a flight to Tanzania, or board one of many comfortable luxury coaches and shuttles that travel daily to Tanzania.

The peak season is July through December. Book early, or you may have some problems getting a reservation. Last minute travelers do have the option of booking camping safaris, either normal or luxury-style camping.
