Tate Modern

A very large, renowned international collection of modern art is housed in an ominous, dark former power plant located on the south bank of the River Thames in central London. The museum does not charge entrance (like most public museums in the city) and warrants a visit, if not to see its very interesting, always stimulating and often confusing works of art. Take a walk along the river afterwards and cross over the Millennium Bridge to the north side of the river where you will be a stone's throw from St. Paul's Cathedral.
