Segovia Cathedral

The Segovia Cathedral was the last Gothic Cathedral built in Spain and towers over the city as it was built at the highest point of the town. The ground plan has three naves, lateral chapels and a semi-circular sanctuary . The Cathedral possessed three entrances with the Puerta del Perdon (the work of Juan Guas) on the main facade. The altarpiece is the crowning glory of the Cathedral and is stunningly made of marble, jasper and bronze.
