INTRODUCTION

Rockland, Maine located in the heart of Knox County is rich in culture with its Farnsworth Art Museum and Wyeth Center and Strand Theatre. Both of which provide a look into art through movies and paintings. Rockland is also well known for its various festivals such as the North Atlantic Blues Festival and the Lobster Festival. In addition, there are many water activities that one can participate in such as kayaking to one of the nearby islands. With a mixture of art, music, nature, and food it is the perfect summer destination.
