The Richard Nixon Library in Yorba Linda commemorates former US President Richard Nixon, who was born in Orange County, and seeks to educate the public about his life and US government and history. The library includes a museum displaying permanent exhibits detailing Nixon’s service in Congress, the Senate, the Vice-Presidency, and the Presidency; gifts presented to Mr. and Mrs. Nixon by world leaders; and a Watergate gallery. The Birthplace is a small, white farmhouse where Nixon was born in 1913. Visitors can tour the restored farmhouse and get a glimpse of what Nixon’s life was like growing up in Orange County in the 20th century. The President's Sikorsky helicopter (also used by Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, and Ford) is a new exhibit at the Library.
The Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace is located (in Orange County and just 37 miles southeast of Los Angeles) at: 18001 Yorba Linda Blvd. Yorba Linda, CA 92886 (714) 993-5075
