When you walk through the streets of Mystic Seaport, you travel to the past of the town and country. This is a museum where one can walk into 19th century houses and experience what life was like back then. From candle making to a section where kids can play with the toys they used, this is an interactive and fun place. What makes this place even better are the ship exhibits. Mystic used to be a port in the 19th century. Visitors are able to climb onto the ships that are docked there and learn about what life was like on a boat while visiting the many quaters of cabin life. With many exhibits and galleries, this is a great place to take the family for the day.
