Frankenmuth is a phenomenal attraction for tourists that come to Michigan. Founded by German missionaries in 1845, it has long since become Michigan's own "Little Bavaria" which welcomes over three million visitors annually.
Festivals and events are held year-round to honor German heritage. The "World Expo In Beer," which is held in May, is a tourist favorite.
Frankenmuth has wonderful shopping, with many of shops that adorn the flower-lined streets. It's also the home of Bronners, the world's largest Christmas store, and St. Julian Wine Company, which offers free tasting!
