Crown Point Indiana

INTRODUCTION

Crown Point is located in Lake County, Indiana. This city was the home of the famous rock band Asteria as well as astronaut Jerry L. Ross. It is also home to various festivals such as The Lake County Fair and The Corn Roast and Taste Of Crown Point.

HISTORY

In 1934 bank robber John Dillinger made his infamous escape from the supposedly 'escape-proof' jail with a hand carved gun.
