Conway, Arkansas Travel Guide

INTRODUCTION

Conway is a fast growing city in central Arkansas. Home to the University of Central Arkansas, Central Arkansas College, and Hendrix College, it is a city of students. Little Rock is a short drive from Conway.

HISTORY

Conway was established on the railroad and founded by A.P. Robinson, who worked as an engineer on the railroad.

ATTRACTIONS

There are many activities and events year round.

Toad Suck Daze is an annual festival in May held in Conway with live music, rides, and food.

The colleges host several concerts, plays, and other artistic activities throughout the school year.

RESTAURANTS

Mike's Place has great food and great service.

Marketplace is huge and has a unique atmosphere.
