Beltsville Maryland

Conveniently located off U.S. Route 1, this city has easy access to Baltimore and the Washington, DC. Even though its populaton is constantly growing, Beltsville still has a smal-town atmosphere.

This community is home to the Henry A. Wallace Beltsville Agricultural Research Center or BARC. With its historic "Butterfly House," the center is the largest and most prominent facility for agricultural science research in the world.
