The Venetian, Las Vegas Travel Guide

Designed to look like Venice, the Venetian is one of the most beautiful and elegant casinos on the Strip. Some features include replicas of the Rialto Bridge and St. Mark's Square.

Located inside are the Grand Canal Shoppes, complete with a canal running through the shopping area. Couples can ride in a real Italian gondola, while being serenaded by their driver. There are daily performances from 'Artisti del Arte', who are classically-trained singers, and "Living Statues" to entertain visitors. The "The Gondolier March" is not to be missed. The hotel rooms are twice the size of an average suite. The luxury makes them very popular with newlyweds. Many couples even choose to get married at the Venetian as it is surrounded with beauty and features many photo opportunities.

The Venetian also houses quite a few attractions. Be sure to visit Madame Tussaud’s while at the Venetian; the wax figures displayed are both fascinating and realistic.
