INTRODUCTION

Rioverde (Green River) lives up to its name in its rich surroundings and round the year pleasant weather. Rioverde is located in the south-central region of the state of San Luis Potosi, Mexico. It is the 5th largest city in the state. The city had a 2005 population of 49,183. The city has been growing faster in the last few years.

It is also famous its spring, called Media Luna?. The Media Luna, or Half Moon is an old volcanic crater, filled with crystalline waters, and is a well known among scuba divers who go there to dive in its warm waters.
