North Wildwood New Jersey

Located on the Jersey Shore in Cape May County, North Wildwood became a city town in 1917. It also borders Stone Harbor Borough, Wildwood City, West Wildwood Borough, Middle Township, and the Atlantic Ocean.

Get your meal in dog bowl at Maui's Dog House. I know, it probably seems a little weird to be eating out of Fido's dish, huh? No way, kids and adults love it, especially because of what is in the bowl. It includes hot dogs, chicken and sausage delights ( don't forget the fries!!), and a variety of other sides, which make family-owned Maui's a must-eat in North Wildwood.

You should also try a "Sloppy Shawn," which is a hot dog covered in ketchup, Maui's own spicy mustard, and fresh onions, "the famous" salty balls, which are fresh, small potatoes cooked in salt and spices with butter, and a rootbeer float. Since the prices are cheap, you won't be broke when you hit the boards.

Maui's Dog House is located at 806 New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood.

The Hereford Inlet Lighthouse in North Wildwood is listed on the National and State Registers of Historic Places. Maintained and operated by the Hereford Lighthouse Commission, this historical beauty in the Anglesea section of North Wildwood is open year-round. Special hours for summer and winter are posted. Take a tour of the Lighthouse and the surrounding gardens. The gardens have been featured in many magazines. Stop in the gift shop for a great nautical treasure. The lighthouse is on 1st and Central Avenues in North Wildwood.
