New Text XOXO Gossip Girl

By Kaitlyn Davis

Gossip Girl is the new hit television show for teenagers all across the country. Every girl wants to jump in Blair and Serena's shoes and live on the upper east side, sipping drinks at high class clubs on the weekends and getting up close and personal with the cutest boys in the world. If you're visiting New York, jump inside the popular set! Make sure to check your phone, with these ten spots you're going to get so deep in the show, you may get some of your own messages from the elusive Gossip Girl!

1) Packer Collegiate Institute 170 Joralemon St. in Brooklyn - This co-ed private school doubles as the common grounds for the teens in Gossip Girl. Sit outside this chapel and pretend you've just spotted the infamous Serena back from her mysterious year long departure, or just saw little Jenny slop a pile of ice cream on Blair Waldorf's perfect hair.

2) Synod of Bishops 75 east 93rd St. - Want to pretend you go to the St. Jude School for Boys, or the Constance Billard School for Girls? Visit this Russian Orthodox church that serves at the exterior for the fictional school, some interior shots are also filmed here. Walk along the corridors and see if you can find out where all of the drama has gone down!

3) The New York Palace Hotel 455 Madison Ave. - Don't want to run into Chuck Bass? Well, don't visit this hot spot then, because it's owned by his family in the show. Serena is living here temporarily, and she too is doing all she can to avoid her new brother Chuck. Walk through the courtyard and grab a drink in the bar to relax, just like Serena does when her life has far to much drama to handle.

4) The Front Room Gallery 147 Roebling St. - Rufus, also known as the sexiest father on television, has his art gallery in this real live location for the pilot episode. See where the sparks flew between long lost lovers Rufus and...Serena's mother!

5) Silvercup Studios 42-22 22nd St. in Queens - If you want to explore the sets used in the show, and perhaps see some of the stars arriving or leaving work, hang around this studio. Many of the apartment interiors were made here, and most of the drama occurs inside these studio walls.

6) Rubin Chapelle 410 west 14th St. - Where did the Queen B get her style? Why from her fashion designer mother of course, who owns this store in the television show. Get some great fashion tips or just try to chat with the fashionable stars of the show. Either way, its a great stop and you made find a great outfit to wear while strutting around New York as if you owned it!

7) Geisha 33 east 61st St. - Eat some fantastic sushi, and possibly sit in the same seat as the, sigh, gorgeous Nate Archibald. He and Blair ate here in the pilot episode while chatting about what Serena's arrival meant. It seemed there were too many high society girls for one small island to handle.

8) Henri Bendel 712 Fifth Ave. - Browse the racks in this indie style department store and pick up your own designer duds just like the girls on the show. The location appears many times in the series, so don't be surprised if they are filming when you show up, just pretend like you always go there and are annoyed with the constant filming taking up your precious shopping time!

9) Communitea 4702 Vernon Blvd in Queens - Want some tea? You will if you realize you could run into super sexy Dan Humphrey and he super sexy dad having some breakfast! In the world of Gossip Girl, this small cafe is right around the bend from the Humphrey loft.

10) The Foundry 42-38 Ninth St. in Queens - Wish you could have attended the 'Kiss on the Lips' Party? Well now you can if you go to this popular wedding destination, where Jenny Humphrey was unprepared for the ultra-friendly ways of Chuck Bass. Watch out for him while your there, you never know what he'll do next!
