It is an amazingly cheap place to shop if you know where to go, so don't be shy to ask around, it will be worth the effort.A very popular and exotic place to come with the one you love, beautiful sunsets and wonderful sights, it's sure to be a memorable romantic getaway. From the beautiful beaches of Kuta, to the magical temples of the mountain tops, Bali has great things to offer and is a great holiday spot. The price of food and shopping will blow you away in Bali. Make sure you take full advantage of the shopping and artisan areas within Bali. Seminyak is a great place to stay, although it is a cab ride from any good nightlife. However, it has great restaurants and heaps of shopping. It also is closer to the nicer hotels that Bali has to offer (which you will still only be paying very little for). The people are very open to sharing their culture and religion with you, so take advantage of this and visit temples, ride elephants, visit the monkey forest and even see a traditional dance show. Many hotels offer full day tours which bus you from place to place, this is great for tourists with limited time in Bali. Make sure to hydrate yourself however, the weather is extremely hot. Jakarta Indonesian people are extremely friendly and nothing is to much trouble for them, prepare to be spoiled! If you like dining out, you will never run out of different foods to try. There is plenty of wonderful shopping as well. There is so much to do and see in this country that you could keep busy for weeks; however, there are tips that you should follow when traveling here, such as ALWAYS drink bottled water. If you don't, you WILL end up with Bali Belly (not a great thing whilst on holidays!). Beware of traffic and take loads of extra bags for the extra luggage your shopping adventures will bring. RESTAURANTS In Jimbaran Bay, Bali you can have a true seafood dinner overlooking the beach while watching the sunset. NIGHTLIFE LODGING Close to Kuta beach is the Hotel Bounty. It had a great Indonesian feel, however with the safety necessary. They provide breakfast in the morning, and have a great menu of Indonesian cuisine. Being a HOT Tourist destination, Indonesia caters for everyone including the kids, don't hold back. This is sure to be the adventure of a lifetime! PERSONAL STORIES
