From Whales To Snowmobiles Iceland

Imagine yourself flying across a glacier with nothing in front of you but white tundra and vistas of rugged mountains. Perhaps the most popular glacier to cross by snowmobile is Snæfellsnesjökull glacier on Snæfellsnes, the westernmost peninsula of Iceland. Written about in Jules Verne’s adventure novel Journey to the Center of the Earth, the glacier and its surrounding area have long had a special hold on both locals and visitors.
