Easily one of the most acclaimed yet inconspicuous South Asian restaurants in the city, New Tayyab's is tucked quietly on a street parallel to Whitechapel High Street in East London. After expanding a few years ago into a larger space, this Pakistani grill house garners hoards of locals and friends of friends who hear of the place through word of mouth. Prices are low for London, around £8 per person, and haven't changed in years. Be prepared for a spicy night, even the air breathed in the restaurant warrants a pleasant choke here and there.
