Carrier DomeThe Carrier Dome is located on the Syracuse University campus. Seating nearly 50,000 people, it is the largest dome on a college campus. It is home to Syracuse University's football, men's and women's basketball and men's and women's lacrosse. It also hosts several collegiate and professional sporting events, such as Olympic ice skating shows and NBA pre-season games. The Carrier Dome often hosts concerts, as well. Some acts to visit the Dome have been Frank Sinatra, the Rolling Stones, Billy Joel, The Who, Pink Floyd, Snoop Dog, Kanye West and Fergie. In addition, the Dome is host to many annual events at Syracuse University including convocation, the Martin Luther King, Jr. celebration and Relay for Life.
