This national park has tons of amazing walking, hiking or biking trails that will blow your mind with the natural beauty of the area. Be sure to follow a trail, like the Neates Glen walking track or the Grand Canyon walk. Stop by the lookouts for great views of the whole mountain range, like Perry's look-down or the lookout of Pulpit Rock.
Take a walk down the giant staircase and look at the three sisters rock formation. The sisters are Meehni, Wimlah and Gunnedoo and were said to have fallen in love with three men from a neighboring tribe but their marriages were forbidden. A raging battle ensued, and the elder turned the sisters into stone to protect him, but he died and now they are stuck like that for eternity. These rocks are the most famous rocks in all of the Blue Mountains.
Try to ride on the Katoomba Scenic Railway to experience the steepest railway in the world, which descends through a rock tunnel cutting between sandstone cliffs. Also try the Scenic Skyway, a glass bottom aerial cable car, or the Scenic Flyway, the steepest aerial cable car in the world.
Finally, walk through the mysterious and spooky Jenolan Caves, a series of interconnected limestone caves that are ranked one of the best in the world.
